Data Protection

The protection of your data is particularly important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection declaration we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contact

If you contact us using the form on our website or by email, the data you provide will be stored with us for six months for the purpose of processing the request and for any follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent.

Data storage online shop and trade

We would like to point out that the IP data of the connection owner as well as the name, address, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, account data or credit card number of the customer are stored by us for the purpose of simplifying the purchasing process and for subsequent contract processing.

The data you provide is necessary to fulfill the contract and to carry out pre-contractual measures. We cannot conclude the contract with you without this data. There is no data transmission to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of account data or credit card data to the processing bank or payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods, to our IT service provider for storage of the data mentioned, as well as to our tax consultant to fulfill our tax obligations.

Furthermore, when paying by credit card, the customer’s name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and credit card number are transmitted to the service provider Stripe, Inc., with registered office at 185 Berry Street, Suite 550, San Francisco, CA 94107 USA, for payment processing saved there. The data will therefore be passed on to a non-European third country. The relationship with the service provider is based on the Privacy Shield agreement.

We have concluded a corresponding contract for order data processing with the order processors.

After aborting the shopping process, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, the data will be stored for a period of 30 years after the end of the financial year in which the business transaction ended, in particular in order to be able to fulfill tax storage obligations and for as long as warranty, damage compensation and product liability claims make it necessary for the Data are processed, which are then processed in an archive with separate access regulations. The data passed on to Stripe, Inc. will be stored by Stripe, Inc. for as long as this is necessary for Stripe, Inc. to fulfill its legal or contractual obligations.

Publishing on social media

We also publish information about our competitions and the winners on social media for advertising and marketing purposes. If you participate in a competition and are one of the winners, this information will include your name and a photograph showing you.

We use Facebook and Instagram from the provider Facebook Inc. with headquarters at 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025 USA as social media services. The data given is transferred to the provider’s server, stored there and published on our Facebook and/or Instagram profile page. The data will therefore be passed on to a non-European third country. The relationship with the provider is based on the Privacy Shield agreement. We have concluded a corresponding contract for order data processing with the provider.

The data will be stored at Facebook Inc. for as long as this is necessary so that Facebook Inc. can offer products and services. The data will remain stored with Facebook Inc. until our profile accounts are deleted, unless Facebook Inc. no longer needs the data to offer products and services.

Data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG and Art 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).

Facebook-Pixel

Within our online offer, so-called „Facebook pixels“ of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA or if you are based in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland is used. With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able to determine the visitors of our offer as a target group for the display of advertisements, so-called „Facebook Ads“. Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to only display the Facebook ads we have placed to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our website. For this purpose, a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established when you visit the website. It is transmitted to the Facebook server that you have visited this website and Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account.

 We can also use the Facebook pixel to understand the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad.  The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook. Facebook can connect this data to your Facebook account and also use it for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s data usage guidelines https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ . 

 The legal basis for the use of this service is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit f GDPR.

Supplier and contractor management (to process our purchasing and our back office)

We receive the data name, company registration number, address, e-mail address, telephone number, and account details from you within the framework of the relationship as a supplier and/or contractor of our company. This data is required to fulfill the contract and is also processed to fulfill legal obligations (e.g. tax retention obligations or warranty and damage compensation obligations). You are not obliged to provide us with data; however, if you do not provide the data, then we cannot provide or claim the service.

There is no data transmission to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of the account data to the processing bank for the purpose of transferring the purchase price/fee to our IT service provider (trinet eU, Mag. Thomas Rieschl, IT-Services & Consulting, FN 348315d). Storage of the data mentioned, as well as to our tax consultant to fulfill our tax obligations.

We store the data during the business relationship and beyond for a period of 30 years after the end of the financial year in which the business case ended, in particular to be able to fulfill tax storage obligations and as long as warranty, damage compensation and product liability claims make it necessary that the data are processed, which are then processed in an archive with separate access regulations.

Cookies

Your rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates the Data Protection Act or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority, which in Austria is the data protection authority.
